Portland Gift Guide

There truly is no shortage of brands and businesses in Portland that create some of the most beautiful products and experiences. I've rounded up a handful of my personal favorites that I think make the best gifts. Enjoy x
  1. Loyly Portland (Massage + Sauna)

Loyly is my favorite retreat especially during the colder months. They have two gorgeous locations in Portland that feature Saunas, Steam Rooms, Cold Plunge Showers, Massage + Facial services and many more add-on's that make your time there transformative. Shop

2. OLO Fragrance

If you've been hanging around Portland long enough, chances are you've smelled OLO fragrance. It's a cult favorite here and their scent offering is superb. They're a very intentional brand and you can feel the love that went into the fragrance when you wear it. Lightning Paw ($45) is my favorite scent with notes of Bergamont, Jasmine, Patchouli, and Vanilla. They have a shop on NE 28th + Burnside where you can experience the brand and their scents IRL. Shop

3. Cloudforest Chocolate

Cloudforest is another wonderful brand that has been creating space for artisan chocolate in Portland and beyond. Founded by Sebastian Cisnero with a focus on playing with the nuances of cacao and creating unconventional chocolate flavor combinations. You can find them IRL at their shop on Hawthorne and pick up a coffee or better yet, Mocha while you're at it. Moonwalk Bar ($8) Shop

4. Wilma (Curated Vintage Furniture + Objects)

If you're looking for a one of a kind object for the design-centric person in your life, look no further than Wilma. Once you step into Wilma's carefully curated industrial loft in the Central Eastside, you'll instantly fall in love with the array of objects, art, and furniture. Shop

5. Matthew Philip Williams (Furniture)

I've loved Matthew's unqiue pieces since I discovered them a few years ago. He primarily creates custom pieces for some of your favorite Portland establishments (including OLO and Cloudforest) he does offer a few of pieces such as these tables on his site. It's the perfect multi-use object of desire made out of solid wood. Low Table ($285) Shop

6. Heart Coffee

Although there is no shortage of incredible coffee in Portland, I have to say, Heart has always been top on roster. The coffee itself is globally recognized and it's the perfect gift for the food lover or coffee connoisseur. I'd opt for a single bag of the classic Stereo Blend ($19) or go all in with a subscription ($99) offered on their site. Shop

7. Nik Nik Studio (Ceramics + Objects)

Nik Nik Studio was founded by artist + interior stylist, Nicole Neu. Her pieces serve as echoes of ancient forms, bridging the gap between everyday objects and art. I initially fell in love with the fluid forms of the pieces and how that element interacts in the home. Pieces range from $65 - $450. Shop

8. Hew (Furniture + Objects)

I discovered Hew a few months back and was immediately drawn to the craftsmanship and the simple yet highly intentional form of their work. The Salt Cellar ($110) pictured above is the perfect gift for the home chef in your life. Shop

9. Sosta House (Bed + Breakfast)

A recent addition to the Willamette Valley, Sosta House is a bed + breakfast just outside of Portland nestled into wine country. Founded by brother-sister duo Nico and Mia Ponzi Hamacher who have deep roots in the wine and hospitality industry. I was immediately drawn to this property due to the intention behind the entire experience (food, wine, architecture, and design). A night (or weekend!) here is such a thoughtful gift idea. Shop
